The world of nutrition can be very complicated and confusing. As a matter of fact there are so many different approaches.

This workshop is designed to give therapists a greater understanding of nutrition and what an important part it plays in the health and well-being of clients.

It is so important that we treat clients in a holistic way particularly when treating issues such as IBS, anxiety, pain, etc. , taking into consideration the importance of the gut and its microbiome and educating them as to how they can look after themselves nutritionally.

On the Workshop you will learn:

  • What is integrative nutrition?
  • The myths about nutrition
  • Condition pathways
  • Inflammation and how to solve it
  • How sweeteners damage the microbiome
  • Menopause overview
  • Stress and the impact on our health, and how diet can improve this
  • Weight Loss and Nutrition – the HAVA plan
  • Nutrition guides for issues such as anxiety, depression IBS and pain.

Testimonial:
“Thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. Kelly was an excellent presenter who clearly knows here stuff. She presented some complex ideas in a really accessible way for those of us who are not nutritionists. Kelly was personable, encouraged debate and conversation and very adept at managing some of the “stronger” personalities on the programme.”  JF
