Introduction to Nutrition for Therapists – one day CPD Workshop

This workshop is designed to give you a better understanding of what is good nutrition. It teaches how you can use it with your clients to improve their well-being.

The world of nutrition can be confusing.  Every day different rules and research bombard us into believing what we should and shouldn’t eat. Or we read headlines about the latest diet or health scare.

This one day workshop will give you a practical understanding of what is good nutrition. It de-bunks the myths, using evidence-based approaches to everyday conditions including healthy weight loss, anxiety and IBS.

On the Workshop you will learn:

  • What is good nutrition?
  • Fats, Carbohydrates and proteins – the good, the bad, the ugly
  • The importance of blood sugar balancing
  • Inflammation and how to solve it
  • Why diets don’t work
  • The importance of the gut and its microbiome
  • Stress and the impact on our health and how diet can help.
  • Practical nutrition guides for every day conditions such as anxiety, depression, IBS, pain management and ADHD/Autism in children.
  • Weight Loss the right way including a diet plan that you can use with your clients

The cost of the workshop includes relevant handouts, certificate of attendance, plus on-going support by email or phone.
